About Our Campus
A Few Words About the College
Watim Medical and Dental College (WM&DC) was established in 2015-2016 with the mission to enhance the quality of medical education in Pakistan. In the first phase, Watim Dental College gained recognition from the PM&DC in 2016-2017, followed by PM&DC's approval for 100 MBBS students at Watim Medical College, Rawat, in 2019 during the second phase. The college is dedicated to training medical and dental graduates who are well-equipped with modern techniques to provide comprehensive healthcare in Pakistan and globally. In the third phase, Watim School of Paramedics and Allied Health Sciences was approved by the Punjab Medical Faculty, launching its classes in 2021. Future plans include expanding into nursing, pharmacy, rehabilitation sciences, and postgraduate studies, with ongoing partnerships with international institutions for student and faculty exchange and research collaborations.

Dean Postgraduate Studies WMCR & WDCR
Prof. Dr. Abdur Rasheed Mian serves as the Chairman of the Board of Management (BOM) for Watim Medical & Dental College. His distinguished career spans extensive contributions to medical education and leadership within both forensic medicine and clinical practice. As Dean of Postgraduate Studies, he champions high standards in education and medical research. His expertise guides the institution’s vision of integrating medicine and dentistry to provide innovative, patient-centered care and foster medical excellence.

It is recognized by Pakistan Medical Commission and affiliated with University of Health Sciences, Punjab. A purpose built facility with state of the art equipment enriched with the best of faculty are some of the reasons to be a part of this institute. Though, the college is young yet it aims to provide world class academic and clinical environment for the students and faculty.
