Aims and Objectives
- To publish original, peer reviewed clinical and basic bio-medical sciences articles.
- To inculcate the habit of medical writing in junior doctors and medical students.
- To enable physicians to remain informed in their own as well as other than their own specialty.
- To share the experience and knowledge for the benefit of patients.
- To achieve the highest level of ethical medical journalism and to produce a publication that is timely and credible.
- To include original research describing recent advances in medical profession
- To include various issues in the domain of public health, drug research and medical education.
Scope
Journal of Watim Medical and dental college (JWMDC) publishes scholarly work from all the biomedical sciences and allied subjects (basic as well as clinical) including medical education. The manuscripts submitted for publication may be in the form of original research (randomized controlled trial, meta-analysis, systematic review, quasi experimental study, case control study, cohort study or cross-sectional analytical study). Also included and considered for publication are audit report, evidence-based report, short communication, short report or a letter to the editor. The Journal discourages submission of more than one article dealing with related aspects of the same study.
