About Our University
Watim Medical and Dental College was established in 2015-2016. DURING FIRST PHASE, Watim Dental College was recognised by PMDC in 2016-2017. Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) in 2019 awarded the recognition for 100 MBBS Students to WATIM MEDICAL COLLEGE RAWAT DURING SECOND PHASE. The aim of establishing the colleges is to improve the quality of medical education and to bring out significant and approachable changes in the training of Medical and Dental Graduates who can play better and positive role in Comprehensive Medical and Dental Health Care of the Pakistani Nation as well as provide best services as and when they join the foreign missions in the field of Medical and Dental Education.

I warmly welcome you to Watim Dental College, Rawalpindi. It is strategically located at the famous Grand Trunk Road at the junction of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. It is recognized by Pakistan Medical Commission and affiliated with University of Health Sciences, Punjab. A purpose built facility with state of the art equipment enriched with the best of faculty are some of the reasons to be a part of this institute. Though, the college is young yet it aims to provide world class academic and clinical environment for the students and faculty. Watim Medical and Dental College was established in 2015-2016. In the first phase, Watim Dental College was recognized by PMDC in 2016-2017. In 2019, the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) awarded recognition for 100 MBBS students to Watim Medical College Rawat in the second phase. The aim is to improve medical education and training for graduates who can contribute positively to healthcare in Pakistan and internationally. Students are trained to high standards with modern techniques. In the third phase, Watim School of Paramedics and Allied Health Sciences was approved by Punjab Medical Faculty and started classes in 2021. Future plans include colleges for nursing, pharmacy, rehabilitation sciences, and PG studies. WM&DC has strong MOUs with international universities for student and faculty exchange and research collaboration. We pray for success in all present and future endeavors.
